All About The My SwimRun World Championships: The 10 Race Global Series In 9 Countries
My SwimRun Championships goes from strength to strength entering its third year as the series evolves to World Championships status. The championship has expanded outside of Europe announcing a qualifying leg at Cape Cod on the US’s eastern seaboard along with two new races SwimRun Troia, Portugal and SwimRun Costa Azahar, Spain. Athletes accrue points with around 350 qualifying for one of the three final distances ‘Marathon’, ‘Half marathon’ and ‘Sprint’ and has a real focus on offering athletes a unique local experience.
The concept aims for athletes to race at their preferred distance while a strong cooperation of leading events in different countries providing a local taste and culture with authentic organisers.

The My SwimRun World Championships ‘finals’
The Championships are held annually for each distance at a different location, which gives athletes the chance to race based on different personal strengths. The different locations feature local races with different flavour, local smell and culture with authentic and individual organisers.
