All About The My SwimRun World Championships: The 10 Race Global Series In 9 Countries 

My SwimRun Championships goes from strength to strength entering its third year as the series evolves to World Championships status. The championship has expanded outside of Europe announcing a qualifying leg at Cape Cod on the US’s eastern seaboard along with two new races SwimRun Troia, Portugal and SwimRun Costa Azahar, Spain. And watch this space as there is more to come…

Athletes accrue points with around 350 qualifying for one of the three final distances ‘Marathon’, ‘Half marathon’ and ‘Sprint’ and has a real focus on offering athletes a unique local experience. 

The concept aims for athletes to race at their preferred distance while a strong cooperation of leading events in different countries providing a local taste and culture with authentic organisers.

May 4th: SwimRun Jablines, France

June 2nd: SwimRun Costa Azahar, Spain

June 21st: SwimRun Troia, Portugal

June 23rd: Backwaterman SwimRun , Austria

June 30th: SwimRun Rheinsberg, Germany

August 17th: Immeln SwimRun , Sweden

September 8th: Dyfi X SwimRun, Wales/UK

September 21st: SwimRun Cape Cod, USA

October 20th: Swimrun Cote d’Azur, France

November 1-3rd: SwimRun Hydra, Greece

The My SwimRun World Championships ‘finals’ 

The Championships are held annually for each distance at a different location, which gives athletes the chance to race based on different personal strengths. The different locations feature local races with different flavour, local smell and culture with authentic and individual organisers.

Marathon: Immeln SwimRun, Sweden

Half Marathon: SwimRun Troia, Portugal

Sprint: SwimRun Cote d’Azur, France
